Wayne State men's tennis player Antoine Marenaud (Bordeaux, France) was named the GLIAC Freshman of the Year by the league coaches. Marenaud was also named to the All-GLIAC First Team, while juniors Alejandro Gomez (Comitan Chiapas, Mexico) and Donavon Mitchell (Detroit, Mich./Mumford) were named to the Second Team and senior Ryan Buck (Shelby Twp., Mich./Utica) was named All-GLIAC Honorable Mention.
Marenaud compiled a 9-8 overall mark for the Warriors this season, including a 4-3 record in conference play. He primarily played #1 singles, earning a 9-6 mark in that spot. At doubles, he paired with Donavon Mitchell and the duo recorded a 9-8 overall record at the #1 spot with a 3-4 conference mark. He teamed with Ryan Buck in the final two matches in the GLIAC Tournament as they won the only doubles match in the Warriors' third-place win over Mercyhurst.

Gomez recorded a 15-3 overall record mostly at #3 singles with a 6-1 conference mark. He is unbeaten in his last nine matches as his match against Northwood in the GLIAC Tournament was left unfinished. In doubles play, he primarily teamed with Arthur Carrilho and the two had an overall record of 7-3 and a conference record of 5-1 mostly in #2 doubles.

Mitchell conducted a 10-8 singles mark primarily at the #2 spot with a 4-3 GLIAC record. He teamed with Antoine Marenaud at #1 doubles and the duo had an overall record of 9-8 and a conference mark of 3-4.

Buck had an overall record of 11-7 and a conference mark of 4-3 mostly at #5 singles. He mainly teamed with Kevin Turnbull and the two recorded an overall mark of 3-5 and a conference record of 2-4 at the #3 slot.
