Men's Tennis Receives NCAA Bid

 
 

 
Coach Rick Cummins and the WSU men's tennis team received an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament.

The Wayne State University men's tennis team, which has equalled the school record with 24 wins this season, has received an at-large bid to the 2003 NCAA tournament.


For the second consecutive year, the 33rd-ranked Warriors will play Missouri-St. Louis (16-7) in the opening round on May 2nd. The winner of WSU-UMSL will have a match against the winner of regional host and 26th-ranked Ferris State (17-7) and Shepherd College (20-2), the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference champion, on May 3.

All matches will be held at FSU's Racquet and Fitness Center in Big Rapids, Mich.
