Four Wayne State University men's tennis players have been named to the GLIAC All-Academic team for the 2006 season.

Seniors Sebastien Foka (Choisy-le-Roi, France) and Adam Williams (Northville, Mich./Saddlebrook [Fla.]) along with junior Ryan Buck (Shelby Twp., Mich./Utica) and sophomore Chris Green (Macomb, Mich./Dakota) earned a spot on the GLIAC All-Academic squad.

This marks the third consecutive year that Foka, an anthropology major, has been named to the GLIAC All-Academic team.

Williams, a music major, earned GLIAC All-Academic team accolades for the second time in his WSU career.

Buck, a liberal arts major, is also a two-time GLIAC All-Academic team honoree.

Green, also a liberal arts major, was eligible for the first time this year.

To be eligible for GLIAC All-Academic status a student athlete must have: a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 or greater (on a 4.0 scale); must be a starter or key reserve; and must not be a freshman or first-year transfer.
