Wayne State University men's tennis player Ryan Buck (Shelby Twp., Mich./Utica) was named to the 2007 GLIAC All-Academic team.
Buck, a finance major, is a three-time GLIAC All-Academic team honoree.
To be eligible for GLIAC All-Academic status a student athlete must have: a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 or greater (on a 4.0 scale); must be a starter or key reserve; and must not be a freshman or first-year transfer.
Buck compiled a 12-8 mark in singles play in helping the Warriors to the second round of the NCAA tournament. He also won seven doubles matches while teaming with five different players.
