BAY CITY, Mich. - WSU men's tennis player Mike Davis (Ferndale, Mich./Almont) earned GLIAC All-Academic team honors for the 2003 season.

Davis, a graduate student, has already been named to the 2002-03 Verizon Academic All-District IV College Division Men's At-Large First Team. The College Division includes NCAA Division II and III institutions.

To qualify for GLIAC All-Academic status a student athlete must have: a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 or greater (on a 4.0 scale); must be a starter or key reserve; and must not be a freshman or first-year transfer.
