University Center, Mich. - Members of the Wayne State University men's cross country team competed at the 2006 Saginaw Valley State University Outdoor Collegiate Open on April 15th at SVSU's Morley Field.
Junior Chris Mehay (New Baltimore, Mich./Anchor Bay) placed second in the 5000m with a time of 15:03.66. The event was won by former WSU cross country team member Nick Allen (14:58.28).
Senior Matt Fecht (Warren, Mich./Mott) placed fourth in the 5000m (15:33.91) and third in the 3000m steeplechase (10:04.53).
