Rochester, Mich. - A few members of the Wayne State University men's cross country team competed in the 2005 Michigan Intercollegiate hosted by Oakland University on Friday afternoon.
Junior Lance Jones (Saranac, Mich.) finished the 8k course in a time of 26:32.4 to place 23rd.
Also competing for the Warriors were sophomore Dave Lucas (Dearborn, Mich./Detroit Catholic Central) who placed 33rd in a time of 26:56.6 and redshirt freshman Mike Delaney (Williamston, Mich.) who placed 71st in a time of 28:30.7.
Next up for WSU is the 2005 GLIAC Championship on Saturday, Oct. 22 in Ishpeming, Mich.
