Findlay, Ohio - Dan Kapadia (Canton, Mich./Salem) was honored as Freshman of the Year as the men's cross country team finished second overall out of 12 teams at the GLIAC Championships, hosted by the University of Findlay. It was Kapadia's, who finished 25th overall, first honor this season.
The leading runner for the Warriors was senior Lance Jones (Saranac, Mich./Saranac), who finished seventh overall.
Grand Valley's Jerry Baltes won Coach of the Year, while Laker Nate Peck won Athlete of the Year.
