Bay City, Mich. - The Wayne State men's cross country team participated in the Saginaw Valley Outdoor meet on Saturday and finished in 11th place with 13 team points.

Redshirt sophomore Abdullah Saleh (Dearborn, Mich./Fordson) came in first place overall in the 5000 meter run with a time of 14:41. Freshman Dan Kapadia (Canton, Mich./Salem) and junior Kevin Christensen (Battle Creek, Mich./Pennfield) finished in seventh and eighth place, respectively. Freshman Vince Bechard (Dearborn, Mich./Divine Child) came in 12th place. His placement was his highest of the year.
