WSU Cross Country Appears in Division II National Rankings

 
 

 
WSU Women 18th in Division II National Rankings (week 7)

After seven weeks of the 2008 season both the Wayne State University Men's and Women's Cross Country teams have grabbed a spot in the (USTFCCCA) Division II National Rankings.

The men's team is ranked 20th, while the women's team is sitting 18th. Fellow GLIAC schools such as Grand Valley State University, University of Findlay and Ashland University are also present in the current rankings.

Meanwhile, the Warriors still hold a place in this weeks Division ll Midwest Regional Rankings. The men remain third behind Grand Valley State and Southern Indiana.  The women's team sits fourth behind Grand Valley State, Southern Indiana and Findlay.    

WSU Cross Country will face a true test when they compete this Saturday October 25 at the GLIAC Championships in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. The women are scheduled to compete at 11:00 a.m.,
