Wayne State University sophomore guard Chastidy Miller (White Lake, Mich./Waterford Kettering) has been selected GLIAC South Division Player of the Week.

Miller was instrumental as Wayne State posted back-to-back GLIAC road victories in Ohio last week. She scored a game-high 19 points, while recording a game-best five steals in the win at Ashland on January 11. Miller tallied 14 points, four rebounds, four steals and three assists in the win at Findlay on Saturday. She had five points, an assist and a steal in the first half as WSU built a 40-29 lead at intermission versus the Oilers.

For the week, Miller averaged 16.5 points, 4.5 steals, 3.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists per game while making 12-of-14 (.857) free throw attempts.

The Warriors are third in the GLIAC South Division one-half game behind second place Hillsdale. WSU has home contests this week against Michigan Tech (5:30 p.m. on Thursday) and Northern Michigan (1 p.m. on Saturday).
