MICHIGAN TECH/NORTHERN MICHIGAN GAME STORYLINES
The Wayne State University women's basketball team, winner of both road contests last week, returns home to the Matthaei to face North Division rivals Michigan Tech (Thursday) and Northern Michigan (Saturday).
Thursday's game will be televised live by Comcast Detroit with Cliff Russell, Jeff Lowe and Eric Pate calling the action.
Wayne State is third in the GLIAC South Division 1/2 game behind Hillsdale and 2 1/2 games ahead of Mercyhurst.
ON THE BENCH
Wayne State's Gloria Bradley has an 82-97 mark in her seventh season with the Warrior basketball program. Her overall 14-year coaching mark stands at 195-165, which includes seven seasons at Montclair State (1993-2000).
John Barnes has a 67-33 record in his fourth year at Michigan Tech.
Northern Michigan's Troy Mattson has compiled a 12-30 mark in his second year with the Wildcats.
THROUGHOUT THE YEARS
Wayne State is 2-4 under Gloria Bradley vs. Michigan Tech. The Huskies have won two of the last three at WSU and lead the all-time series 27-14.
The Warriors are 4-2 against Northern Michigan under Bradley including a 2-1 mark at home. NMU won 65-55 in its last visit to Detroit.

MILLER HONORED
WSU sophomore guard Chastidy Miller was selected GLIAC South Division Player of the Week.
Miller was instrumental as WSU posted back-to-back GLIAC road victories in Ohio last week. She scored a game-high 19 points, while recording a game-best five steals in the win at Ashland on Jan. 11. Miller tallied 14 points, four rebounds, four steals and three assists in the win at Findlay on Saturday.
