MERCYHURST/GANNON GAME STORYLINES
The Wayne State University women's basketball team can secure a spot in the 2007 GLIAC tournament with two wins this week as the Warriors visit Mercyhurst (Thursday at 6 p.m.) and Gannon (Saturday at 1 p.m.).
WSU is 2-3 in road league contests this season with both triumphs coming against South Division squads Ashland and Findlay.
Wayne State is third in the GLIAC South Division, two games behind Hillsdale and three games ahead of Ashland.
ON THE BENCH
Wayne State's Gloria Bradley has an 85-100 mark in her seventh season with the Warrior basketball program. Her overall 14-year coaching mark stands at 198-168, which includes seven seasons at Montclair State (1993-2000).
Karin Nicholls has a 22-54 record in her third year at Mercyhurst. Cleve Wright has a 79-56 mark in his fifth season at Gannon.
THROUGHOUT THE YEARS
WSU has lost its last two league games at Mercyhurst after winning four straight in Erie versus the Lakers.
The Warriors won last year at Gannon, after losing two straight at the Hammermill Center.
SERIES NOTES
Gloria Bradley has an 11-3 all-time mark against Mercyhurst, including a 4-2 record in games played in Erie.
WSU has lost the last two at MC by a combined 11 points.
Wayne State is looking for its fifth series sweep vs. Mercyhurst in Coach Bradley's seven years at WSU.

WSU sophomore guard Chastidy Miller, who made 97 free throws a year ago (sixth highest single-season mark in school history), needs three free throws made to tie Sarah Warnke's mark of 92 for the seventh best single-season total.
Sophomore guard Joy Nash's assist total of 109 ranks 10th all-time at WSU.
