Wayne State University senior Bethany Mesko (Traverse City, Mich./Central) has been voted to the CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine College Division Academic All-District women's basketball Third Team.

Mesko, an accounting major, has been named to the Wayne State Athletic Director's Honor Roll (term gpa 3.5+) all seven semesters including five semesters with a perfect 4.0 grade-point average.

She has missed the last five games with an injury. All four of her games in double figures this season came against GLIAC opponents.

The District IV Academic team was selected by members of CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America) located in Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee and Alabama. College Division includes all Division II, Division III and NAIA institutions.
