The NCAA released its national stats today including games through Feb. 11.
Individually, sophomore guard Joy Nash (Muskegon, Mich.) is 26th nationally in assists per game (5.0). She had seven assists in last Thursday's win at Mercyhurst and followed that with four assists in Saturday's setback at Gannon. She is also the GLIAC leader in assists per game.
Wayne State plays its final two regular-season home games this week - Thursday vs. Ferris State (5:30 p.m.) and Saturday against Saginaw Valley (1 p.m.).
Thursday's game will be televised live by Comcast Detroit and replayed on Sunday at 3 p.m. on Comcast Local. Wayne State will recognize its three seniors - Bethany Mesko, Ralphanee Peyton and Cherita Smith - before Saturday's contest versus the Cardinals.
