FERRIS STATE/SAGINAW VALLEY GAME STORYLINES

The Wayne State University women's basketball team plays its final two regular-season home games this week versus Ferris State (Thursday) and Saginaw Valley (Saturday). Thursday's game will be televised live by Comcast Detroit while Senior Day festivities will be held on Saturday.

WSU is 5-2 in home league contests this season.

Wayne State is third in the GLIAC South Division, two games behind Hillsdale and three games ahead of Ashland.

ON THE BENCH

Wayne State's Gloria Bradley has an 86-101 mark in her seventh season with the Warrior basketball program. Her overall 14-year coaching mark stands at 199-169, which includes seven seasons at Montclair State (1993-2000).

Tracey Bloodworth-Fisk has a 151-95 mark in her ninth year at FSU. SVSU's third-year mentor Vonnie Killmer has a 21-54 record.

THROUGHOUT THE YEARS

Ferris State has won the last three series meetings. Wayne State has a 1-5 record against the Bulldogs under Bradley.

The Warriors won last year at Saginaw Valley to snap a two-game losing streak in the series. WSU is 5-2 versus the Cardinals under Bradley.

SERIES NOTES

Gloria Bradley has a 1-5 all-time mark against Ferris State, including an 0-2 record in games played in Detroit.

FSU has won the last three meetings since a 16-point WSU victory during the 2002-03 campaign.

Wayne State has not defeated the Bulldogs at the Matthaei since the 1994-95.

WSU sophomore guard Chastidy Miller has made 104 free throws this year, the sixth best single-season mark in school history. Ebony Vincent (2002-03) is fifth with 105.

Sophomore guard Joy Nash's assist total of 120 ranks tied-for-eighth all-time at WSU with Leslie Gotts (1995-96). Pearly Cunningham is seventh with 131 assists.

The 51 points allowed by WSU in last Thursday's win at Mercyhurst was a season-low.
