Warrior Guard Continues To Lead GLIAC In Assists

The NCAA released its national stats yesterday including games through Feb. 18.

Individually, sophomore guard Joy Nash (Muskegon, Mich.) is 25th nationally in assists per game (5.2). She had nine assists last Thursday's against Ferris State and followed that with five assists on Saturday's versus Saginaw Valley. She is also the GLIAC leader in assists per game by more than 1.5 per contest.

Wayne State plays its final regular-season game this Saturday at Hillsdale (1 p.m.).

The Warriors then return to Hillsdale on Tuesday, Feb. 27 for a GLIAC quarterfinal match.
