ALLENDALE, Mich. - Wayne State University senior guard Kristen Rogers (Lansing, Mich.) earned her second straight South Division All-Conference Second Team award, selected by the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's head coaches and announced Thursday night at the conference tournament banquet on the campus of Grand Valley State.

Rogers started 94 of 109 career games and finished her four years with 1056 points, ranking 13th all-time. She holds the single-game (8) and career (171) record for three-pointers, as well as the career mark free throw percentage (83.7). She was second on the team with a 10.5 scoring average and led the squad with 85 assists and 47 three-pointers.

Among the league's leaders, Rogers was sixth in assist/turnover ratio (1.33), seventh in steals (2.19) and 11th in three-pointers made (1.74).

Senior forward Niki Reams of GVSU was selected as the Player of the Year for the second consecutive season. Rookie center Jaclyn Armstrong of Lake Superior State University was chosen as Freshman of the Year, while Coach of the Year honors went to Michigan Tech University's John Barnes.
