Houghton, Mich. - Wayne State University senior forward Monique George (Detroit, Mich./Cass Tech) was voted to the GLIAC women's basketball all-tournament team.

George had 14 points in WSU's semifinal loss to eventual champion Michigan Tech after recording a double-double with 16 points and a team-high 13 rebounds in Wayne State's quarterfinal upset win at conference champion Hillsdale College on March 1.
