WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Wayne State women's fencing team competed at the West versus Central dual meet in West Lafayette, Ind. on Feb. 21 and posted a 4-1 mark. WSU upped its record to 13-9.

The Warriors had three fencers post perfect records at the meet. Freshman Lindsey Howard went 14-0 in the foil. Anna Vinnikov and Anna Garina each went 13-0 in the epee.

Kathryn Hefner compiled a 9-5 mark in the foil, while Jinelle Lawson posted a 10-2 record in the sabre.

WSU will resume to action on Feb. 28, when they travel to Ann Arbor for the Michigan Schools Duals.
