Palm Springs, Calif. - Two members of the Wayne State University women's fencing squad participated in the 2003 North American Cup held on December 13 in Palm Springs, California.

Sophomore Anna Garina (Kiev, Ukraine/Republican School) finished sixth, while junior Anna Vinnikov (Ma'alot, Israel/ORT Ma'alot) finished 29th out of 84 competitors in the epee. Complete epee results.

The Warriors will next be in action at the Notre Dame Duals on January 31-February 1, 2004.
