The Wayne State University women's fencing team begins the 2007 portion of its schedule at the Notre Dame Duals this Saturday.
The Warriors will face eight different universities during Saturday's competition.
WSU opens against Cleveland State in round one, will face Cal State-Fullerton in round two and has a bye in round three.
In the next three rounds, the Warriors will compete against Stanford, Lawrence and UC-San Diego.
In the final three rounds, WSU will face Detroit, Notre Dame and Ohio State.
Scheduled to participate for Wayne State are Anna Garina, Justyna Konczalska and Alyse Schneider in the epee, Kasia Kuzniak, Ann Bartoszewicz and Alicia Chmielewski in the sabre, and Lindsey Howard, Erin Stranyak and Melanie Kwiatkowski in the foil.
