The NCAA has released the final women's and men's national collegiate fencing polls as provided by the United States Fencing Coaches Association.

In the women's poll, WSU was ranked 16th leading Brandeis, MIT, Air Force and Cornell. Notre Dame had the top-ranked women's squad and was followed by Ohio State, Penn State, Pennsylvania, Columbia, Northwestern, Princeton, Harvard, Temple, St. John's (NY), Duke, Stanford, North Carolina, Rutgers and New York University.

In the men's poll, WSU was ranked 13th in the country. St. John's (NY) was first and was followed by Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, Columbia, Princeton, Pennsylvania, Harvard, New York University, Duke, Stanford and Rutgers. Trailing the Warriors were MIT, North Carolina, Air Force, Brandeis, UC-San Diego and Johns Hopkins.
