Jim Campbell, E.M. ,C., begins his 10th season in 2009-10 as the Wayne State University hockey equipment manager.

He came to WSU after working for two years as an assistant equipment manager for the USA National Team Development Program in Ann Arbor. Campbell spent the summer of 2000 with the Detroit Lions as an assistant equipment manager. He previously worked two-and-a-half years as a student assistant with the University of Michigan's hockey program.

A graduate of Genesse High School, he lettered in basketball, baseball, cross country and track and earned All-Conference honors in cross country. He also earned All-State Academic honors his last two years.

A Wayne State graduate with a degree in history, Campbell resides in Oak Park with his wife, Anne, and son, Brendan.
