The Wayne State women's hockey team has received a vote in each of the last two weekly polls released by USA Today/American Hockey Magazine.

This marks the first time in school history that the Warriors have been recognized in a national women's hockey poll.

Wayne State has a record of 14-13-5 and is unbeaten (8-1-1) in nine of its last 10 games. The Warriors are two wins shy of setting a team single-season record.

WSU will finish the regular season at Niagara this weekend before preparing for the College Hockey America Tournament, hosted by Wayne State at the Michigan State Fairgrounds Coliseum, March 9-12.
