Freshman forward Lindsay DiPietro (Manotick, Ont./Ottawa Lady Senators), who earned two Offensive Player of the Week awards from College Hockey America earlier this season, is this week's CHA Rookie of the Week.

After being held scoreless in Friday's 3-2 victory over St. Cloud State, DiPietro recorded her second three-point game in her last three outings in Saturday's 4-3 win.

She assisted on the Warriors' first goal of the game to give Wayne State an early 1-0 lead just over two minutes into the first period. DiPietro then scored her eighth goal of the season in the second period to tie the game at 2-2, and assisted on a power-play goal to put WSU in front, 3-2, in the third period.

In her last four games, DiPietro has recorded two assists three times and has eight points along with a plus/minus rating of +4.

She is tied for second on the team in goals (8), second in assists (9), and third in points (17).

The Warriors are idle this weekend before traveling to seventh-ranked Princeton, Dec. 9-10.
