Four Wayne State University softball players were named to the NFCA (National Fastpitch Coaches Association) All-Great Lakes Region squads announced yesterday.

Voted to the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division II All-Great Lakes Region First Team were pitcher Molly Yetman (Cambridge, Ont.), first baseman Lindsey Perry (Taylor, Mich./Kennedy) and outfielder Sarah Berry (Acton, Ont.), while catcher Sarah Kish (St. Catharines, Ont.) was a second team selection.

The balloting was done by the head coaches in the three Great Lakes Region conferences (GLIAC, GLVC and WVIAC).

The 2007 Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-America teams will be announced on Wednesday, May 16.
