Wayne State University head softball coach Gary Bryce announced today the addition of Molly Yetman (Cambridge, Ont.) to the 2007 Warrior softball squad.

Yetman earned Second Team All-Heartland Conference honors as a pitcher in 2006 for Western New Mexico University. She led the Mustangs in wins (14), innings pitched (143.2), strikeouts (117), appearances (29), starts (22), complete games (17) and shutouts (3) and tied for the team lead with two saves.

The previous year she led WNMU is appearances (33), starts (30), complete games (24), wins (15) and innings pitched (183.2). Yetman finished second on the squad in strikeouts (127) and tied for first in shutouts (3).

A 2004 graduate of Glenview Park Secondary School in Cambridge, she tossed three consecutive shutouts at the 2005 Canadian Championships for the Guelph Gators. Yetman was selected Most Valuable Player of the playoff round after recording five wins (four by shutout including a no-hitter) while striking out 67.
