2007-08: GLIAC CHAMPIONSHIP: Was the runner-up in the 200 butterfly (2:08.49) and finished seventh in both the 400 individual medley (4:45.71) and 100 butterfly (59.90) ... swam the butterfly portion of the preliminary 400 medley relay, which qualified first (4:01.26).
2006-07: NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP: Earned four Honorable Mention All-America accolades, including three relays - the 200 freestyle relay (1:40.24 - 16th), 200 medley relay (1:50.44 - 16th), and 400 medley relay (3:58.49 - 12th), which set a school record of 3:57.95 in the preliminary round ... won the "B" final to take ninth overall in the 200 butterfly (2:07.29) and broke her own school record in the preliminary 100 butterfly (58.41) but missed the final cut by .10 seconds. GLIAC CHAMPIONSHIP: Took second in the 200 butterfly (2:09.52) and fourth in the 100 fly (59.00) ... swam the butterfly portion of the 200 medley relay, which finished fourth and set a new WSU record (1:49.04), as well as the 400 medley relay, which came in third (4:01.87). SEASON: Broke the school record in the 100 butterfly (58.91) Dec. 2 at the Eastern Michigan Invitational ... helped get the 200 medley relay qualified for nationals March 3 at Ashland's Last Chance Meet, setting another WSU record (1:47.96).
High School: A 2006 graduate of Flint Southwestern Academy ... spent four years on the varsity squad under coach Mildred James ... competed in the 100 fly at the Division II state meet in her last three seasons, finishing 16th in 2003, fourth in 2004, and 11th in 2005 ... earned all-league and all-state honors, as well as team MVP ... was co-valedictorian of Flint Southwestern, finishing with a 4.00 GPA ... also swam for the Flint YMCA Falcons and placed 14th in the 200 fly at the YMCA national championships in 2006.
