ASHLAND, Ohio - Four members of the Wayne State women's swimming team participated in a Last Chance Meet at Ashland University on Saturday, making an NCAA "A" cut and setting a new WSU record in the 200 medley relay.

The combination of Katie Harrigan (Portage, Mich./Northern), Elaina Hogle (Kentwood, Mich./East Kentwood), Laura Leix (Flint, Mich./Southwestern), and Julie Danaher (Allen Park, Mich.) posted a time of 1:47.96, qualifying for nationals by a .18 second margin.

Harrigan and Danaher, who made "B" cuts in individual events earlier this season, are be eligible to swim those events when Wayne State travels to Buffalo, N.Y. for the NCAA Championship beginning March 14.
