COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Wayne State women's swimming and diving team is in sixth place through Thursday's finals at the 2008 NCAA Championships, hosted by the University of Missouri S&T.

The 400 medley relay quartet of Sara Franklin (Caro, Mich.), Elaina Hogle (Kentwood, Mich./East Kentwood), Agata Zalewska (Swietochlowice, Poland), and Ashley St. Andrew (Grand Rapids, Mich./Jenison) set a school record of 3:53.98 and finished in 10th place. Franklin's leadoff time of 58.11 also set a school mark for the 100 backstroke.

In addition, Hogle finished 13th in the 400 individual medley (4:33.70), and St. Andrew placed sixth in the 200 freestyle (1:51.79).
