BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Wayne State women's swimming and diving team regained its 10th-place position after the third day of competition at the NCAA Championship. The Warriors have 102 points through Friday's finals.

Two individuals earned First Team All-America honors with finishes in the top eight on Friday, while three others and a relay garnered Honorable Mention accolades finishing ninth through 16th.

Ashley St. Andrew (Grand Rapids, Mich./Jenison) finished second (5:00.44) in the 500 freestyle, and Melissa Duff (Howell, Mich./Brighton) came in 14th (5:08.56).

In the 100 backstroke, Katie Harrigan (Portage, Mich./Northern) swam to a 16th-place finish (59.85).

Elaina Hogle (Kentwood, Mich./East Kentwood) took seventh (2:07.90) in the 200 butterfly, while Laura Leix (Flint, Mich./Southwestern) won the "B" final (ninth overall) with a time of 2:07.29.

The Warrior 800 free relay of Duff, St. Andrew, Julie Danaher (Allen Park, Mich.), and Hogle turned in a 10th-place time of 7:47.23.
