YPSILANTI, Mich. - The women's swimming and diving team was defeated by Toledo (189-52) and host Eastern Michigan (204-39) on Saturday, Nov. 5.
The only Warrior to finish higher than sixth in any event was Melissa Duff, who took third place in the 500 free (5:14.04). She also finished seventh in the 1000 free (10:46.36) and sixth in the 200 free (2:02.13).
Wayne State's "A" team placed fifth in the 200 medley relay (1:55.28).
Katie Harrigan swam to a sixth-place finish in the 200 back (2:14.06), and Amber Staudacher placed sixth in the 200 breast (2:29.90).
The Warriors' "A" team finished fourth in the 800 free relay in a time of 8:06.50.
Wayne State will host Indianapolis next Saturday, Nov. 12.
