Detroit - The Wayne State University women's swimming and diving team suffered a 157-84 setback to the University of Indianapolis Greyhounds Saturday at the Matthaei Aquatic Center on the WSU campus.
Leading the Warriors were Katie Harrigan (Portage, Mich./Northern) and Melissa Duff (Howell, Mich./Brighton).
Harrigan was second in both the 200 IM (2:13.26) and 200 back (2:13.02), while Duff recorded runner-up finishes in the 1650 (18:10.22) and 500 free (5:16.53).
Divers Lindsey O'Neill (Dearborn Hts., Mich./Crestwood) and Erika Barczak (Williamston, Mich.) each took home a first place finish. O'Neill won the one-meter diving competition (215.80) edging Barczak by 0.70, while Barczak won the three-meter event with a score of 225.65.
The next competition for WSU is next Saturday in Marquette with a triangular meet against Hillsdale and host Northern Michigan.
