Wayne State sophomore Ashley St. Andrew (Grand Rapids, Mich./Jenison) earned CollegeSwimming.com National Collegiate Swimmer of the Week honors following strong performances in last weekend's GLIAC dual meet victories over Grand Valley State and Indianapolis.

St. Andrew won the 200 freestyle (1:55.88) and the 500 freestyle (5:05.60) Friday night against the Lakers, and swam the third leg of WSU's first-place 400 freestyle relay.

Saturday against the Greyhounds, St. Andrew won the 1000 freestyle (10:31.91) and 500 freestyle (5:09.29) while placing second in the 200 freestyle (1:55.42).

Wayne State's next competition is this Saturday at 1:00 p.m. when the Warriors host Calvin College at the Matthaei Aquatic Center.
