Orlando, Fla. - The Wayne State women's tennis team (14-6) blanked Lincoln (Mo.), 9-0, on Monday morning. The victory marked the fourth time in the Warriors' last five matches that they have shut out their opponent.
All six Warriors were victorious in singles play: Amanda Pressotto (Trenton, Mich./Trenton), Colette Cabot (Fruitport, Mich./Fruitport), Steph Nicolson (Bloomfield Hills, Mich./Andover), Meghan Luzod (Royal Oak, Mich./Dondero), Stephanie Van Tuyl (Riverview, Mich./Gabriel Richard) and Lindsay Oshnock (Chesterfield, Mich./L'Anse Creuse North).
All three doubles teams won their respective matches: Mays/Nicolson, Pressotto/Cabot and Van Tuyl/Luzod.
Wayne State will resume play in Florida with two matches on Tuesday, Hamilton at 8 a.m. and Bentley at 12 p.m.
