Orlando, Fla. - The Wayne State women's tennis team ran its winning streak to nine games dating back to the fall season with an 8-1 win over Bentley on Tuesday afternoon.
The Warriors won five of six singles matches: Amanda Pressotto (Trenton, Mich./Trenton), Colette Cabot (Fruitport, Mich./Fruitport), Dee Mays (Detroit, Mich./Detroit), Meghan Luzod (Royal Oak, Mich./Dondero) and Stephanie Van Tuyl (Riverview, Mich./Gabriel Richard).
Wayne State also took all three doubles matches as the teams of Mays/Nicolson, Pressotto/Cabot and Van Tuyl/Luzod were all victorious.
Wayne State will end its Florida trip with a match against Lees-McRae on Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. before hosting Grand Valley State on March 25.
