HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The WSU women's tennis team won its first spring season match on Sunday, defeating Ohio Wesleyan, 8-1, at Hilton Head, S.C.
The Warriors swept all six singles matches and won two of three doubles matches in the victory.
Newcomers Collette Cabot, who played at No. 1 singles, and Ashley Abramson, at No. 3 singles, each won their debut matches for Wayne State. Also victorious were Steph Nicolson, Dee Mays, Amanda Pressotto, and Olga Petrovic.
