HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The Warrior women's tennis team earned its second victory in as many days at Hilton Head, defeating Richard Stockton, 8-1, on Thursday.
The Warriors swept the three doubles matches and took five of the six singles bouts for the win.
For the second day in a row, Ashley Abramson (Royal Oak, Mich./West Bloomfield) did not surrender a game in her match, this time at No. 2 singles. She is undefeated (4-0 singles, 4-0 doubles) since joining the Wayne State squad.
Dee Mays (Detroit, Mich./Utica) also swept her opponent at No. 4 singles, and Amanda Pressotto (Trenton, Mich.) improved to 4-0 in spring play with her victory at No. 3 singles.
