Lexington, Ohio - The Wayne State University women's tennis squad (4-4 overall and GLIAC) recorded an 8-1 victory Saturday at Ashland University (3-8 overall, 0-8 GLIAC).
The Warriors led 3-0 after doubles and won five of six singles flights.
Double winners for WSU were Steph Nicolson at first singles and first doubles, Dee Mays at second singles and first doubles, Amanda Pressotto and third singles and second doubles and Sargam Bhatt at No. 6 singles and third doubles.
Wayne State concludes the regular-season portion of its fall schedule with a Sunday match at Mercyhurst.
