Detroit, Mich. - Two members of the Wayne State tennis teams are ranked in the Great Lakes region in the latest ITA polls, released April 6. Freshman Antoine Marenaud (Bordeaux, France) is 15th in the region while senior Amanda Pressotto (Trenton, Mich./Trenton) is 14th.
Marenaud is 9-6 on the season in the #1 singles position, including a 4-2 GLIAC mark. He is also 9-6 overall and 3-3 in conference action in the #1 doubles slot with teammate Donavon Mitchell (Detroit, Mich./Mumford).
Pressotto is 16-8 this season, all in the #1 singles position, which includes a 6-4 conference record. She is 8-2 in her last 10 matches. In doubles action, she has accumulated a 21-5 mark, primarily with Colette Cabot (Fruitport, Mich./Fruitport), mainly at #2 doubles. That record includes a 6-4 GLIAC record. Pressotto and Cabot has a 4-1 record at #1 doubles. The duo is 9-1 in their last 10 matches.
