The 2005 All-GLIAC women's tennis teams have been announced, and Warrior co-captains Dee Mays (Detroit, Mich./Utica) and Amanda Pressotto (Trenton, Mich.) were among those honored, along with junior Steph Nicolson (Bloomfield Hills, Mich./Andover).
Mays was named to the all-conference Second Team after posting a 6-3 singles record in dual meets this season. She also won three doubles matches in dual meets, and advanced with Pressotto to the second round of doubles at the ITA Regionals in September.

Nicolson also earned Second Team honors this season. She had an impressive showing at the ITA Regionals, advancing to the third round in singles, the best showing by a Wayne State player at the event. She finished with a 4-5 singles record in dual meets, playing eight of her nine matches at No. 1 singles.

Pressotto, who earned a spot on the Honorable Mention team for the second straight year,also hada singles record of 6-3 in dual meets, while also posting an even 4-4 record in doubles. She advanced to the second round of singles at the ITA Regionals, and won the deciding match against Michigan Tech at the GLIAC Championship to advance the Warriors to the fifth-place match against Mercyhurst.
