The Wayne State women's tennis team is 10th in the Great Lakes region, according to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's NCAA Division II fall rankings.

The Warriors finished with an overall record of 5-7 (4-5 in regular-season conference play) this fall, sixth place in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).

Additionally, the doubles combination of Steph Nicolson (Bloomfield Hills, Mich./Andover) and Dee Mays (Detroit, Mich./Utica) is ranked sixth in the region.

Nicolson and Mays went 4-2 in the No. 1 doubles slot, including a 2-0 mark at the GLIAC Tournament, Oct. 21-22.
