Three members of the 2006 Wayne State women's tennis team were named to the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) All-Academic team.

To be eligible for GLIAC All-Academic status a student athlete must have: a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or greater (on a 4.0 scale); must be a starter or key reserve; and must not be a freshman or first-year transfer.

Selected to the GLIAC All-Academic team were seniors Colette Cabot (Fruitport, Mich./Fruitport), Amanda Pressotto (Trenton, Mich.) and Stephanie Van Tuyl (Riverview, Mich./Gabriel Richard).

Pressotto was selected for the third time in her career, while Van Tuyl earned the honor for the second time. Cabot (a transfer from Muskegon Community College) was eligible for the award for the first time this season.
