FINDLAY, Ohio - Making its second trip to the University of Findlay in as many weeks, the Wayne State volleyball team (0-7, 0-2 GLIAC) came away from its conference match on Friday against the Oilers still looking for its first win of the season.

Findlay, currently ranked 22nd in the nation, defeated Wayne State, 3-0 (30-16, 30-17, 30-26) to improve to 8-1 (2-0 GLIAC) on the season.

Miranda Robison (Coldwater, Mich.) narrowly missed reaching her second double-double of the season, posting nine kills and 10 digs. Kristen Buter (Muskegon, Mich./North Muskegon) led the Warrior offense with 10 kills.

Kristi Pieper (Roseville, Mich./Fraser) continued her strong defensive play this season, recording a match-high 15 digs.

Wayne State travels to GLIAC foe Ashland tomorrow afternoon at 1:00 p.m. The Warriors will then play its first matches at home this season next weekend, hosting Mercyhurst and Gannon.
