CHARLESTON, W.Va. - The Warrior volleyball team was swept by Indiana University (Pa.), 3-0 (30-21, 30-27, 30-27), in Wayne State's second match of the Capital City Classic at the University of Charleston Friday afternoon. The loss drops WSU to 3-3 on the year.

Outside hitter Megan Smolen (Grosse Ile, Mich.) had her third double-double of the season with 15 kills and 11 digs to go along with three blocks. Elisa Joris (Walled Lake, Mich./GVSU) added 10 kills and four blocks for the Warriors in the loss.

Junior Sei Hee Hwang (Toronto, Ont./Cedarbrae) led the squad with 27 digs and Kristi Pieper (Roseville, Mich./Fraser) recorded a season-high 16 digs.

The two WSU setters combined for 43 assists with junior Kerri Royer (Lawton, Mich./Kal. Valley C.C.) totalling 33 and senior Leslie Coxon (Mason, Mich./Minn. State) adding 10 assists.

Wayne State will play Mount Olive College at 9:00 am Saturday.
