ERIE, Pa. - The Warrior volleyball team (10-3, 2-3 GLIAC) won its second straight conference match with a 3-0 victory at Gannon (5-11, 0-6 GLIAC) on Saturday afternoon. The Warriors, who hit over .300 as a team (.311) in back-to-back matches, won by the scores of 30-25, 30-22 and 30-21 at GU's Hammermill Center in Erie, Pa.

Senior middle blocker Elisa Joris (Walled Lake, Mich./Western) recorded game-highs in kills (14), digs (15) and blocks (5, all solo) for her fifth double-double of the year. She single-handedly out-blocked the Golden Knights who had just two blocks on the day.

Junior Nicole Jackson (Lansing, Mich./Sexton) continued her hot hand with 10 kills in 23 attempts with just one error (.391 hitting percentage). Jackson is hitting a team-high .333 this season.

The Warriors did damage with their serves as well, collecting eight aces compared to GU's two. Kerri Royer (Lawton, Mich./ Kalamazoo Central) and Kelly Sines (Clinton, Mich.) each recorded three aces, while Megan Smolen (Grosse Isle, Mich.) had two.

Wayne State looks for its first home win of the year next weekend as Saginaw Valley (Sept. 30) and Northwood (Oct. 1) visit the Matthaei.
