MIDLAND, Mich. - The Northwood Timberwolves used many big runs to defeat visiting Wayne State 3-1 (30-17, 30-18, 25-30, 30-19) in GLIAC volleyball action Friday (Sept. 26). The Warriors fall to 4-8 overall and 0-4 in the league; NU is 10-6, 3-1.
In game one, NU went on a 9-0 run en route to the 30-17 win. The second game saw much of the same with a 12-2 run.
