BIG RAPIDS, Mich. - The Wayne State volleyball team (1-16, 1-11 GLIAC) suffered a 3-0 defeat at Ferris State (16-5, 8-4 GLIAC) on Saturday night.

The Bulldogs won by scores of 30-18, 30-16, and 30-20, as the Warriors were left still looking for their first road win of the season.

Kayla Clysdale (Kalamazoo, Mich./Central) led the Warriors with 10 kills, and Kristi Pieper (Roseville, Mich./Fraser) had a team-high 15 digs. Michelle Bittner (Hamtramck, Mich./Regina) also contributed defensively with nine digs.

The Warriors return home to the Matthaei next weekend to face Ashland on Friday, Oct. 13, and Findlay on Saturday, Oct. 14.
