MARQUETTE, Mich. - Wayne State's volleyball team fell for the third day in the row with a 3-1 (25-30, 30-24, 30-26, 30-17) loss at Northern Michigan on Sunday, Oct. 12. The Warriors fall to 6-12 overall and 2-8 in the conference while the GLIAC North leading Wildcats remain undefeated at 14-0, 9-0.
Sophomore Kelita Sinclair had a career-high 16 kills as the middle blocker recorded a hitting percentage of .419 to lead the Warriors. Sofi Berczley added 10 kills on the night.
Senior Rebecca Hague, sharing time at the net with Sei Hee Hwang, hit a season-high 10 kills. The pair combined for 46 assists.
The Wildcats out-blocked WSU 9-2, including 16 block assists.
The Warriors return home on Friday with a league match-up against Ferris State University at 7:00 p.m.
